Water Watch

Monitoring and protecting the quality of water at Blackburn Lake Sanctuary.

Blackburn Lake Sanctuary's Water Watch group regularly tests the quality of the lake water and monitors the numbers of macroinvertebrates in the water.

In 2024, the Water Watch group supported the Environment Protection Authority's investigation of pollution in the lake. Community members worked with the EPA to monitor the lake water. (Read more on the EPA website.)
